Beth and Peter- A Stribling Orchard Engagement

I'm going to start off this post by saying that I love all of my 2013 couples. I really do. They're full of awesome. Seriously. Beth and Peter found me through Ben and Christine. (Peter was one of the groomsmen.) They are a couple that is full of life and always want to be doing something rather than just sitting on the couch (baseball games, wine tastings, Mute Math concerts, apple picking, etc). They're both all sorts of goofy, and the laughs just keep coming.

The engagement shoot was at Stribling Orchard in Markham, VA. I personally have never been, but Peter and Beth have been there several times for apple picking. Everyone got to see how well I interact with nature. (Not well.) We had a lot of fun wandering around the orchard and got some amazing photos.

Beth and Peter, I seriously can't wait for your wedding at the aquarium in June!

Huge thank you to Katy for being my extra hands and helping fight the battle of the stink bug!

Jennie and Matt - A Georgetown Engagement Session

Jennie is a art teacher and Matt is a youth minister. They both have vibrant personalities, great senses of humor, and the biggest hearts I've ever seen. They have mastered the art of Skype dates and crossing multiple state lines just to see each other. They may have met on E-Harmony, but their love for each other is as genuine as it gets, and it never has stopped growing. He makes her smile even when she is determined not to. When they're together, you can't help but notice how perfect they are for each other.Jennie and Matt traveled to Georgetown for their engagement session. It was quite the adventure between playing frogger for the perfect photo, getting yelled at by security for standing on a driveway, and taking a photo with a dead sexy car. They were an amazing couple to work with especially letting me try out some ideas that have been floating around in my head for months.

Jennie and Matt- I cannot wait for your wedding this spring!!

Also a huge thank you goes to Katy and Liz for being my voice activated light stands and extra hands! Things wouldn't have gone so smoothly without you backing me up!
