Pure Joy Event's Gingham Easter Party

I have been photographing some of the parties that Christine from Pure Joy Events has been throwing for almost a year now. She never ceases to amaze me with all of the time and detail she puts into these parties. Every single time I walk into one, I wish I was 5 years old again just so I can play and go through the work stations/activities she has set up.This time it was a gingham themed Easter party with egg decorating, an egg hunt, and an egg toss. undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefined

I had so so so much fun photographing the party, and I cant wait for the next one!

Check out her blog post of the event. It has all of the links to the vendors that she used to make it all happen along with links to tutorials.

If you haven't read it, I did a guest post on her blog sharing some tips on photographing kid's parties.

Current Favorites!

I actually had a lot of fun putting together my last Current Favorites post. I'm thinking of doing it more regularly.

Current Favorites: *Pinkberry- I had my FIRST taste of Pinkberry this past weekend. It was phenomenal. It has the National Yogurt Association's Live & Active Cultures seal (whatever that means), so I can totally justify treating myself to some without feeling bad. *Teavana tea- I've never been a big tea person, but I am ADDICTED to some of Teavana's teas. Current favorite blend? Samurai Chai Mate with White Ayurvedic Chai. mmmm <3 *Evernote- I had Evernote FOREVER ago, but never really utilized it until now. I use it for to-do lists, places to put inspiration, and so much more. There are a TON of other photographers (like Jeremy Cowart) who use it too. In fact, here is an article on how Jeremy uses it. *Cruising around with Adam listening to Jack Johnson with the windows down- I love spending time with him. We went location scouting together the other day, and the weather was gorgeous. What made it even better was Jack Johnson's "Better Together" came on. <3

{There is no combination of words I could put on the postcard And no song that I could sing, but I can try because this is your heart and this is Our dreams and they are made out of real things Like a shoebox of photographs with sepia-toned loving Love is the answer at least for most of the questions in my heart, like Why are we here? And where do we go? And how come it's so hard? It's not always easy and sometimes life can be deceiving I'll tell you one thing, it's so much better when we're together}
